All the Colours of the Dark (B PB)

Product Overview & Details

In the small town of Monta Clare, Missouri, the summer of 1975 marks the end of childhood for Patch and Saint.

Joseph "Patch" Macauley is a lonely, one-eyed boy who becomes an unlikely hero when he intervenes to save a local girl from an attacker. But his act of courage comes at a terrible cost: Patch is abducted and taken away from everyone he knows.

His best friend, Saint Brown, is devastated.

Refusing to give up on him, Saint dedicates herself to finding Patch. Her determination becomes a defining force in her life.

Meanwhile, Patch is held captive in complete darkness. He believes he is alone—until he discovers that another captive is there with him.

Her name is Grace.

Patch cannot see her, but Grace talks to him, tells him stories, and gives him something to hold on to. In the darkness, the two form an extraordinary emotional connection and fall in love.

Eventually, Patch escapes.

But Grace is nowhere to be found.

No one seems to believe that she ever existed.

Patch, however, refuses to accept that she was imaginary. He becomes obsessed with finding the mysterious girl who helped him survive.
