NCERT Class 9 Sharda ( Sanskrit Book ) for Class 9 - Latest edition 2026 as per NCERT/CBSE

There is an important correction here: I cannot verify an NCERT Class 9 Sanskrit textbook titled “Sharda” for the 2026–27 edition. The official CBSE/NCERT material currently available for 2026–27 does not list Sharda as the new Class IX Sanskrit textbook. C

CBSE's 2026–27 language framework has changed substantially. For Class IX, students study R1/R2 languages under the new NCERT curriculum, and CBSE's May 2026 clarification specifically addresses the availability of textbooks. C

For Sanskrit, however, I do not find an official NCERT 2026 Class IX book named “Sharda.” The older CBSE resources list Sanskrit books such as She­mushi, Vyakaranithi and Abhyasvan Bhav, but those are legacy resources rather than evidence of a new 2026 Sharda textbook. C

So I would not recommend entering an ISBN, page count, edition or description for “Sharda – Sanskrit Class 9, 2026” as an NCERT book, because that would risk giving you incorrect bibliographic information.
