NCERT Exemplar Problems Mathematics for Class 12 - latest edition as per NCERT/CBSE

For CBSE Class XII Mathematics (Code 041), NCERT publishes a separate supplementary book titled Mathematics Exemplar Problems Class XII. The current NCERT publication catalogue lists it under Code 1322. CBSE's current 2026–27 Mathematics syllabus is still based on the Class XII Mathematics course under Code 041. 

NCERT Mathematics Exemplar Problems Class XII is a supplementary practice book designed to provide students with higher-quality and varied mathematical problems based on the concepts taught in the Class XII Mathematics textbook.

The book was developed by NCERT's Department of Education in Science and Mathematics with the objective of providing problems involving different cognitive levels, helping students strengthen conceptual understanding, problem-solving ability and mathematical reasoning. The original preface specifically states that the problems are intended to help teachers assess learning and prepare balanced question papers.
