Description

Kaveri is the new integrated English textbook introduced by NCERT for Class 9 from the 2026–27 academic session. It brings together prose and poetry around common themes, with activities designed to develop reading comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, speaking, listening and writing skills.

The book uses literary and non-literary texts dealing with themes such as education and literacy, family, traditional occupations, social and environmental change, values, inclusion, music, communication, dreams and aspirations.
