The story follows Lana, a young girl who loves fairy tales. When her older brother Harrison begins to lose interest in imaginative games, Lana wishes things could go back to how they were. One day, while visiting a mysterious supermarket, she discovers a strange tree that leads her into a magical fairy-tale world. There, familiar stories are turned upside down, and Lana must use her courage and quick thinking to find her way home. (simonandschuster.co.uk)

About the Story

Lana enjoys spending time with her older brother Harrison, especially when they invent magical adventures together. But as Harrison grows older, he becomes more interested in video games and less interested in fairy tales, leaving Lana feeling lonely.

Everything changes when Lana discovers a magical tree that transports her into a fairy-tale world where well-known stories are not quite as she remembers them. Familiar characters, unexpected dangers, and enchanted forests await her as she journeys through this magical land.

To return home, Lana must solve puzzles, outsmart villains, and discover that fairy tales are about much more than happy endings—they are stories of bravery, kindness, and believing in yourself. (simonandschuster.co.uk)
