1. The Shadow Rising — Book 4

The fourth novel greatly expands the world introduced in the first three books.

Rand al'Thor has accepted his identity as the Dragon Reborn, but knowing who he is doesn't make his task any easier. He must learn what it means to wield his enormous power while facing enemies who want to control or destroy him.

Rand and his companions travel to the Aiel Waste, where they encounter the mysterious Aiel people and learn more about their history and the ancient origins of the world.
