After the Second Battle of Panipat in 1556, Akbar gradually strengthened Mughal authority. He expanded the empire into different regions, including Rajputana, Gujarat, Bengal, Bihar, Malwa, and parts of the Deccan. His relations with the Rajputs and his policy of political cooperation were significant features of Mughal expansion.The course also discusses the Mughal administrative system.
